Onboarding: Like unboxing a gift.
As a hybrid visual & interaction designer, I led several efforts to improve the onboarding experience of Google Cloud Platform. From solving the problem of free-trial discoverability to creating a brand identity, I designed the UX and art directed a set of illustrations with a group of very talented illustrators from Oddfellows.

Inspired by the existing Free Trial offer & icon for first time users, we created a story of a user unboxing a a gift of a wonderful experience.

Design that is intentional
and scalable
The redesign introduced an updated information architecture while maintaining the dashboard structure. This update resulted in 34% increase in users signing up for free trial.
